This job post is exclusively for the role of staffing for these healthcare companies as a med tech.
Job Summary Certified Medication Aid (CMA), employed by Trinity Life at Home in Roswell, Georgia, plays a critical role in delivering personalized care to patients at home. CMAs assist in medication administration and provide support to medical staff, ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients.
CMA Compensation and Benefits:
Pay starting at $18-$20. per hour
Employment is PRN
Medical, dental and vision benefits available through Cigna if you maintain FT hours (32+/wk)
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medication to patients
- Assist with personal care routines as requested
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- Follow care plans and protocols diligently
- Complete shift documentation according to client's requirements
CMA Requirements:
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Previous experience working with the elderly or in a healthcare setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved CMA certification training course
- Current CNA and CMA certification in the state of GA
- Current CPR certification
- Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months
Ability to think and work independently and with direction
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Good bedside manner with a compassionate personality
