Experienced Floral Designer for Anita's Garden Shop

Jacksonville, FL | Historic Avondale District | Full-Time or Part-Time

About the Role:

Join our family-owned boutique garden shop and create stunning custom floral designs without ever following a "templated recipe." As a Floral Designer, you'll work with the best plants and flowers available, build lasting client relationships, and contribute your creative vision to Jacksonville's premier garden shop experience for the last 35 years!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design custom living arrangements, wreaths, and seasonal displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and design consultations.
• Maintain shop displays and ensure high quality standards.
• Manage greenhouse plants and inventory.
• Collaborate with our close-knit team in a dynamic retail environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Professional floral design experience (portfolio required).
• Passion for creative, custom floral work.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects occasionally.
• Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative team environment.
• Availability for 2 Saturdays per month + holiday periods.

In-store applications are encouraged with your background highlighting professional floral experience. Portfolio, photos or work samples may be requested. Interview may include hands-on design demonstration. Best times to visit 10am – 1pm
