A boutique family law firm with a strong reputation in Southern California, is seeking an  Attorney to join their team in Calabasas, CA (with flexibility across nearby offices). This is a hands-on litigation role for an experienced family law attorney who wants meaningful client work, professional growth, and a collaborative environment without micromanagement.

What You'll Do as the Attorney:

• Manage family law matters from intake through resolution, including hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Handle discovery end to end, including drafting and responding, reviewing production, and preparing motions when needed
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely pleadings and legal documents
• Develop practical case strategies focused on strong outcomes and cost efficiency for clients
• Advise and support clients through emotionally complex situations with empathy and confidence
• Appear in court for hearings and conferences; trial exposure without pressure to be first chair
• Track billable time and manage a steady caseload independently
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in a team-oriented environment
• Mentor junior team members and assist with training as needed
• Stay current on California family law developments and best practices

Must-Haves as the Attorney:

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• 3 to 5 years of family law experience
• Comfort handling evidentiary hearings and contested matters
• Strong written, verbal, and courtroom communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism when working with high-conflict matters
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
• Valid California Class C driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-Haves as the Attorney:

• Experience working with high net worth clients
• Familiarity with Clio, LawYaw, or similar case management tools
• Interest in long-term growth, leadership, or partner-track opportunities
• Business development mindset and ability to originate clients

• Competitive base salary range of $150,000 to $190,000
• Monthly billable expectation of 100 to 120 hours with bonus potential for exceeding targets
