Job Title: IT Analyst - Cloud Data Migration Location: Raleigh, NC Pay: $55-$70/hr Area Code: 919 Zip Code: 27603 Start: ASAP Keywords: #Oracle, #MicrosoftFabric, #SQL About the Role We are currently leading a strategic migration from an on-premises Oracle infrastructure to Microsoft Fabric in the cloud. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a proactive and highly independent team member to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and our development team based in Spain. This role is critical in ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, well-documented, and effectively communicated to the technical team, while also helping shape solutions that are purpose-built for the cloud, rather than replicating legacy systems. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document data and reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications for the development team.
• Collaborate closely with developers in Spain to ensure alignment and progress.
• Participate in the design of cloud-native solutions that meet business objectives without replicating legacy Oracle structures.
• Write and maintain high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use SQL to validate data, perform analysis, and support migration efforts.
• Attend in-person meetings twice a week to foster strong communication with local stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with SQL, DataLake and data analysis.
• Proven ability to document business requirements and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in cloud migration projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle and/or Microsoft Fabric is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus but not required.
