Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Beech Island, SC Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Temp to Hire Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.50 an hour Schedule: Rotating Shift (Dupont Schedule) Keywords: #maintenance #electrical #mechanical #asrs A Maintenance Technician job is available with a service client in Beech Island, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. You will act as a material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at a specific site location. Responsibilities: What You Will Do In This Role

• Perform repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication are completed flawlessly.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to maintain world-class operational standards.
• Apply electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry and ensure efficient performance.
• Efficiently build and close work orders into the asset management system, accurately logging labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Solve semi-complex problems by identifying and applying the required resources to resolve them effectively.
• Monitor and manage spare parts from inventory to ensure availability for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and equipment testing, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Respond to service calls promptly and address equipment failures and faults with a proven approach.
• Identify and resolve problems as they occur, taking appropriate steps to prevent recurrence.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization, encouraging a collaborative work environment.

What We Are Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience is essential. An associate's degree or vocational-technical training is beneficial, with niche skill training/certification preferred.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solving electro-mechanical equipment issues is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience and successful implementation of responsibilities as outlined above.
• The ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds each.
• Capability to regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head.
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
• Safely climb ladders and gangways without limitations.
• Able to work in different conditions like tight spaces, noise, and varying temperatures.
• The ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.
