Director Key Responsibilities Leadership and Administration - Lead daily operations of the school
- Maintain regulatory and brand standards
- Develop and implement school policies and procedures.
Staff Management - Recruit, train, and supervise staff members
- Conduct one-on-one performance evaluations on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and provide feedback and coaching to staff
- Manage and ensure the proper training of all staff members
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Curriculum and Program Development - Deliver our proprietary curriculum, designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning
- Ensure that the educational programs meet the needs of all children
- Support teachers in creating engaging and effective lesson plans
Family/Community Engagement & Customer Service - Schedule and conduct in-person tours and effectively manage tour process from start to finish
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
- Anticipate and address parent concerns on a timely basis, and provide regular communication regarding their child’s progress
- Plan and execute school events
- Promote the schools within the community and participate in outreach activities
Financial Management - Develop and manage the School's budget
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Oversee enrollment and maintain accurate financial records
Health and Safety - Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
- Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility

Qualifications: - At least 5 years experience in a director-level position at a large center
- Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices
- Strong knowledge of California state licensing regulations
- An inspirational leader and team builder
- Proficiency with technology platforms, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Canva for scheduling, planning, and family/staff communication
- Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
- Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Have a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
