JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client is currently seeking a Systems Engineer in our Scottsdale, AZ location. As a Systems Engineer - eCCM Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. Skills:

• Satellite communications knowledge
• Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
• Ground operations experience
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
• Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Additional Skills to consider:

• Experience with IT equipment configuration management databases
• Experience with managing the tracking and deployment of software updates across an enterprise
• Experience with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow
• Experience working with multiple software suppliers to manage and track their planned version update cycles
• and other boilerplate SE types of things…
• Experience with development and use of configuration management database

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
• Agile experience preferred.
