River Ridge Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Center is looking for a highly motivated Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership and clinical skills, along with the ability to effectively assist our surgeons during their clinical cases. He or she will play an active role in creating an excellent patient experience, start to finish.

Job Requirements

• CPR-certified

• High school Diploma

• Dental Assisting Degree

• DANB/DAANCE - preferred

• Surgical Experience - preferred

• Dental Assistance Experience - preferred

Qualifications for a River Ridge Oral Surgery Assistant:

• Warm and outgoing personality
• Work independently, but also as a team
• Holding yourself accountable for your performance
• Strong and effective communication
• Knowledge and/or previous experience with dental software preferred, not required
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated and an outstanding work ethic
• Hard worker and able to stay on task at all times

Job Responsibility of a River Ridge Oral Surgery Assistant

• Assist oral surgeon during oral and facial procedures
• Preparing patient for treatment while being welcoming and compassionate
• Review medical history with the patient
• Recover patient after IV sedation procedure
• Prepare treatment room for oral surgery procedures
• Sterilize and prepare instruments for oral surgery procedures
• Take CBCT scans/Panorex images
